Keeping Your Social Media Fresh
One of the most important things you can do for your business right now is to not let your social media go dark! It can be tricky to come up with new content while you are not actively behind the chair, so here are our suggestions to keep your social media fresh!
Take online education - then post about it!
Sign up for online education classes, then snap a photo of your set-up, and post it to your profile. It is a great idea to let your clients know that you are using this time to freshen up on skills or learn new techniques! Not sure where to find a class? Make a tutorial video
Everyone has some downtime right now to learn some new ways to style their hair! Break out your straightener and do a quick beach waves tutorial, or better yet, show some easy hairstyles that can cover roots while your clients wait for you. This is content that is often shared by clients, making it great for engagement!
Take some product photos
Grab some of your favorite products and snap some creative photos. This is a great opportunity to flex your creative muscles. You can use props from around your home, like flowers or hairpins. Let your clients know why you love these products and encourage them to order from you!
Post some past transformations
Of course, you can still post your work! Post some old favorites or one of the photos sitting in your camera roll that haven’t made the feed yet! Pair it with some inspiration or a positive message to remind your clients how excited you are to get back to work soon!
Introduce yourself
Let your clients in and share a few things about yourself! Post a photo of yourself, a pet, or a cute behind-the-scenes snap.
As a bonus: Taking the time to create videos or product photos is a great creative outlet! Tag us in your posts so we can cheer you on!
