So so many more incredible products were launched. There are also so many great launches coming in 2021, the best way to keep informed about new launches is to read our bi-monthly magazine The Cut and subscribe to our emails!

Covid Relief - It goes without saying that this year was not easy, yet we prevailed as a community. Here are some of the things our partners have done to help keep this community together.

  • Manocoblue was able to donate large amounts of gloves to local health departments during the PPE Crisis of the beginning of the pandemic. We were also proud to offer support from afar in other various ways to help you re-open your doors.

  • Davines hopped into action quickly by creating hand sanitizer for its community in Italy.

  • Paul Mitchell created the JPMS Salon Jumpstart Stimulus package to help salons stay on their feet. Alongside, that they also created hand sanitizers for their community.

  • April 3, Moroccanoil donated 100% of its proceeds to the PBA COVID-19 Relief Fund to help provide emergency financial assistance to stylists and salon workers unable to work

  • Affiliate programs popped up across the industry to help stylists continue to make commissions, some brands that got involved were Amika and evo!

  • Greencircles created a PPE recycling program to add to their already incredible recycling initiatives. PPE created a whole new line of waste!

Online education - Manocoblue implemented virtual education immediately as the shutdown happened, our education director worked quickly to ensure that anyone who needed Credit Hours were able to get them virtually. We can proudly say that over 90% of the brands we partner with also offered online education during this time. One of the highlights for us, when we were offering zoom classes during the first stay-at-home orders, were our  Lucas Cide Sanitation classes. The classes were not only incredibly interesting and informative, but they also helped stylists and salon owners feel more prepared when they were able to re-open! PS: we still have some great online education coming your way and fingers crossed for some in-person coming soon too!
