Selena and Rachel are the owners of the beautiful Elon Studios in Rocky River, Ohio. They worked many years together in a trendy upscale commission-based salon. When that salon's time came to a close, Selena and Rachel took a leap of faith during covid and opened their very own chair rental salon where several of their fellow stylists followed.

If you're looking for a comfortable upscale experience, Elon is the place to be. Their team has created a negative-free environment, with stylists being friends inside and outside of the salon. From assisting and being hard working stylists at a commission salon, to being a team where they are all their own bosses and traveling to shows together, Elon is the definition of salon team goals.
The new salon style has allowed them to slow down and allowed them to create a more intimate experience with their guests. Keeping cohesiveness has been an important aspect of their business; they all have the training and can wholeheartedly trust that their clients will get the same experience, no matter which stylist they go to.
Davines has been a huge support for their culture, offering products that everyone can use. Selena could not say enough good things about how their color line has transformed her textured-hair clients.
How the Elon Name was Born:
Originally Elan was the name of the salon, but after filling out a lot of paperwork and a small typo later, Elon was born. If you get the opportunity to check out their salon, be sure to pay attention to the delicate detail of the meaning placed throughout their salon (even in the bathroom).
Elan: French word for elegant.
Elon: African American female name that means ‘God loves me’.
Fun Fact: Elon Supports Local - They have local artists work in their salon. Not only does this add to the amazing vibe, but the piece is also available for sale.
